Eden’s ongoing response to COVID-19

In 2020 all our lives changed with the news of the virus COVID-19. We were extremely fortunate in the ACT to be able to continue trading and providing services, although under very different conditions. 

Our approach at Eden has always been to follow the government, both state and federal’s recommendations and do whatever necessary to provide a safe environment for our guests and team. 

For much of 2020 that meant we dramatically reduced our numbers in salon, had (and still have) strict hygiene measures in place, asked all guests to wash their hands upon arrival and adjusted to strategic seating arrangements. 

Fast forward to 2021 and CODIV-19 is still a part of our lives. We have remained so lucky in the ACT however we continue to follow the most up to date recommendations and requirements. 

As of June 2021, we are still following the same hygiene measures we had in place in 2020 although we have relaxed distancing in some cases where necessary, as the ACT Government have advised is acceptable and you are no longer required to wash your hands upon arrival. 

We do however have facilities available for you to continue to wash your hands if you wish and if you have travelled by public transport, we would greatly appreciate you doing so. 

We ask that all guests check in before passing reception via the Check In CBR app, as required by ACT Government. 

We will all be used to things changing frequently by now, and you can be assured that if there are any changes in requirements to providing services in the ACT we will be implementing them as soon as we are aware.

If you have been unwell, have experienced cold or flu symptoms, have recently been exposed to others who are unwell or have travelled to any area which has become a hotspot, we ask that you kindly contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.
