FAQ
The following tips will help you get the best results and longest life out of your hair:
- Brush your extensions thoroughly but gently from roots to ends (yes you can brush right over the top of the beads) each day, morning and night, using a soft bristle brush (stocked at Eden).
- Use a high moisture shampoo and conditioner, leave-in treatment and heat protection spray when heat styling hair.
- Ensure all products are sulphate free, as sulphates can rapidly deteriorate your extensions.
- When washing your hair, concentrate your shampoo on your scalp and wash underneath the hair extensions thoroughly to remove any build-up of dead skin or products. Focus your conditioner, treatments and leave-in treatments on your mid-length – ends, avoiding root/ bead area as this will cause beads to slip faster.
- Allow your hair to dry naturally as much as possible to minimise heat damage.
- Squeeze as much of the moisture out of your hair before you begin blow drying it but avoid rubbing the hair together with a towel as this will cause matting.
- When blow drying, dry hair in a downward direction to assist in smoothing the hair.
- Always make sure your hair is 100% dry before going to bed. Going to bed with wet or damp hair will result in it being unmanageable when you wake up and will need to be re-washed to make it manageable again. Additionally, moisture trapped under the beads can breed bacteria and if there are underlying scalp conditions, cause irritation and discomfort.
- Use metal free hair ties or scrunchies when tying up your hair to prevent damage.
- Avoid the pool or ocean if possible and, if you aren’t able to, we suggest wetting your hair down, adding a leave in treatment and plaiting your hair before entering the water. Once out, wash and treat your hair as soon as possible.
- Once a week, use a nourishing moisture and Plex treatment.
- Book your adjustment appointments in advance to avoid going too long between visits.
- When your extensions are in, your hair sheds as it normally would but the hair is trapped inside the beads. It is normal when we take the extensions out for an adjustment to shed what may feel like a large amount but will only be what would have naturally fallen out over the period between application and adjustment without extensions in.

If you have somewhere to be after your appointment, please let your stylist know before they begin your service so they can accurately let you know how long it will take so you can sit back and relax.
Haircut appointments are booked for 45- 60 minutes.
Colour appointments have many different variables so please ask our team when booking how long your appointment may be. Appointments can be anywhere from 1hr 30mins for regrowth tints to 2 to 3 hours for big colour changes, foil work and balayage.

Our prices are based around the time our skilled stylists and team spend with you combined with the cost of products used. Our prices are gender neutral. If additional time or product is required to achieve your desired result, we reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly, however your stylist will communicate this with you along the way.
If you are visiting Eden for the first time, or having a dramatic change, we would highly recommend coming in for a complimentary consultation before your hair appointment to meet your stylist and ask any questions. Your hair goals are our hair goals, we would love the opportunity to meet you and make your hair dreams come true.
We do not provide exact quotes over the phone, Facebook, Instagram or email; however we would love to offer you a complimentary 15-minute consultation and assessment of your hair in salon, where we can meet you and provide an accurate quote.
Generally, we use the following as a guide for hair lengths:
Short – not below the ears
Medium – not on or below the shoulders
Long – down to middle of back
Extra-long – past middle of back
*If your hair is extra thick, it may fall into the price category longer than your length or attract an additional charge, to allow for extra product usage and time.
Our colour ranges contain no warnings against use during pregnancy or when trying to conceive. We have lots of mums who continue to colour during pregnancy or when nursing and we have mums who choose not to. Should you have any concerns, we suggest you speak to a medical professional to come to a decision with which you are comfortable.
We are happy to continue all services as normal during pregnancy for our guests.
Payment is required on the day of your appointment, if you aren’t able to pay please advise your stylist as we will need to reschedule your appointment.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, cash, AfterPay and Zip Pay.
We do not accept Diners cards or cheques.

We are directly opposite the Dickson McDonald's drive-through and next door to the Cheesecake Shop.
For best parking we recommend the car park directly behind us, which is entered via Wooley Street, between the BWS and LJ Hooker.
Our friendly team can top up your parking if needed during your visit, so just let us know.
At Eden we strive to provide the best possible service to deliver optimum results. However, if you leave the salon and find your colour, cut, extensions or style are not exactly what you were hoping for, please let us know.
We would love the opportunity to make you 100% happy, so if you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please contact us within one week of the original appointment and we will work together to find a solution at little or no further charge to you.
Some services require ongoing work over a number of sessions, your stylist will do their best to achieve the closest result possible each visit, however, there are sometimes factors outside of our control. If we believe that a colour will take a number of sessions to achieve your stylist will communicate this to you before they commence.
If you contact us more than one week after the original service date, you will be charged for any further services required at the regular price.
If you have purchased a product on our recommendation and find it isn’t right for you, provided it is more than 70% full, please feel free to bring it back on your next visit and we will happily exchange it for something more suited to you.
