You asked - we answered. We’re excited to now offer our guests Afterpay and ZipPay as payment methods at Eden!
At Eden Hair Energy, we value our clients. We received several requests for Afterpay and ZipPay, and were excited to be able to make it happen. What many don’t realise, though, is that these payment methods have associated fees that are significantly higher than any other payment method – more than 5 times the cost/percentage of regular EFTPOS fees!
Part of the agreement with Afterpay and ZipPay is that we, as a business, cannot pass these fees on as a surcharge, as you may have seen some businesses do with American Express or even regular EFTPOS fees. Unfortunately, providing these payment methods adds significantly to the cost structure of a small business. So, while we’re excited to be able to provide this service, we’ve had to carefully consider how we can do so.
Terms and Conditions
Afterpay and ZipPay are available at Eden Hair Energy under the following terms and conditions:
- Minimum spend $200 (services and products included)
- Pre-approval for the use of Afterpay or ZipPay as a payment method at Eden is required prior to the commencement of a hair service. Should Afterpay or ZipPay be requested during a hair service, we have the right to decline your request or adjust the service price.
- Services where Afterpay or ZipPay are used will be quoted and charged at full list price. This means the total cost may be higher than what you see on our service price list (where some items/costs of your services may be absorbed by other items of your service).
- Afterpay and ZipPay are not available in conjunction with any other offers, discounts of promotions on hair services or products.
- Any refunds required from an Afterpay or ZipPay transaction require processing through Afterpay or ZipPay directly and are subject to their timeframes, fees and T&Cs.
Signing up to either payment platform is simple. However, we encourage you to set up your account before your appointment so we can dedicate your allocated appointment time to looking after your hair.
Please note: We always do our best to provide the most accurate quotes possible for services before we begin. However, sometimes unforeseen additional time or product may be needed to achieve the perfect result, which can alter the cost of your service. However, we’ll ensure you’re kept up to date with any additional steps needed so that you have the option of whether to proceed in a way that will vary your original quote.
