Meet Esther, the Eden mascot.
When our move to the DKSN building was confirmed, we knew we wanted a special sculpture or piece of public art to sit outside our new salon. It had to truly represent Eden Hair Energy—so the search began.
We were delighted to discover Gillie and Marc. At first, we were completely drawn to their bronze sculptures, but then we came across Esther—and it was love at first sight. She officially joined our family in 2018, in celebration of and preparation for our move.
Esther was the perfect fit for Eden Hair Energy. Her lush green foliage reflects our dedication to sustainability and the garden-inspired feel of our brand. At Eden, we proudly support cruelty-free products, and the bunny is a well-known symbol of this ethos. Esther also embodies a sense of divine femininity, celebrating beauty in her own unique way.
After moving into our new location, we realised that with heavy foot traffic and strong wind gusts, outside was no place for our lovely lady. She became an indoor bunny, gracing different areas of the salon and bringing joy to everyone who visits.
Esther enjoyed a long and wonderful “career” as our salon bunny, becoming a much-loved part of the Eden experience. These days, she’s happily retired and enjoying a quieter life away from the salon. While she’s no longer with us day-to-day, she’ll always be part of the Eden story—so keep an eye out, as she may still make a special guest appearance from time to time.
