Treatments - because healthy hair is beautiful hair
Hair smoothing treatments
At Eden Hair Energy, we wouldn’t want to do anything to your hair that we wouldn’t do to our own. As such, we no longer offer permanent hair straightening services as we found it to be too damaging and often left clients dissatisfied.
We are excited, however, to offer you two amazing hair smoothing treatments that offer a 95% frizz reduction that can last up to 5 months! Chi Enviro Smoothing Treatment and Cezanne Smoothing Treatment.
Both of our smoothing treatments are formaldehyde free and extremely gentle and nourishing for your hair. This means that even the most dry and damaged hair can be improved by the treatments.
Which smoothing treatment is best for me?
Both treatments reduce frizz and last for roughly the same time. However, there are some key differences between the two.
Chi Enviro Smoothing Treatments act subtly relaxing curls and reducing frizz. So, if you like to wear your hair with a natural wave/curl, but without the frizziness and challenge of managing it, this treatment is for you.
Cezanne Smoothing Treatments offer a maximum reduction in curl along with frizz reduction. So, if you like to wear your hair blow dried/straightened, with minimum styling time, this treatment is for you.
Hair ‘health-boost’ treatments
Whether your hair is feeling a little dry or isn’t looking its bright and brilliant best, a hair treatment could be exactly what you need. Treatments are, in essence, a richer version of your daily hair care shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments and masks. They deliver a concentrated dose of goodness to your hair to restore moisture, revive softness and bring back glossy shine.
Choosing a hair treatment is less about your hair type and more about your hair needs. At Eden Hair Energy, our expert hair stylists can help identify what your hair needs most, whether it be hydration, repair or a nutrient boost.
Perming, best known for its popularity in the 80s, has made a major comeback in the last few years. If you’re looking for hair perming in Dickson, Eden Hair Energy is proud to have two amazing senior stylists, Paul and Maria, to help you who specialise in perming.
The perming process
Perming is a permanent process which includes two main steps:
- Firstly, the hair is shampooed thoroughly to remove any buildup. The perm is then ‘wound’ which is where every section of your hair is wrapped around a perm ‘rod’. These vary in size depending on the desired curl size. Once ‘wound’, a solution is applied to your hair. This actively breaks down the bonds on the inside of your hair, and is left to process.
- The next step involves rinsing the solution and reapplying another solution that puts the bonds back together – and a permanent curl is formed.
It’s important to note that, due to the damaging nature of the process, perming is only suitable for hair that’s currently in a strong and healthy condition.
Before having a perm at Eden Hair Energy, it’s essential that you have a consultation with one of our stylists to assess your suitability to the treatment. Consultations are offered free of charge and can be done separately to your appointment or at your appointment.
It is important to know that once you have had a perm you cannot wet or wash your hair for 24 hours as this will destroy the curl and the perm will not last.
Should you wish to have a treatment with another service, please let us know at the time of booking. This allows us to ensure we allocate enough time for you to enjoy the full experience and get the most out of your service.

How long is my hair?
As you probably noticed in our pricing list above, most of our pricing is based on the length of your hair. If you’re wondering how long your hair is, in terms of pricing for hairdressing services, below is a guide to help you:
Please note that if you have very thick hair, it may attract an additional charge if extra time and product is needed.
