Hair length guidelines
Most of our haircut pricing is based on hair length. If you’re wondering how long your hair is, in terms of pricing for hairdressing services, below is a guide to help you:
- Short - if your hair doesn't go below your ears, you have short hair.
- Medium - if your hair sits below your ears, but above your shoulders, you have medium length hair.
- Long - if your hair is between shoulder length and reaching the middle of your back, you have long hair.
- Extra-long - if the end of your hair sits below the middle of your back, you have extra-long hair. In some cases, additional charges may apply.
Please note that if you have very thick hair, it may attract an additional charge if extra time and product are required.

Perms
Perming, best known for its popularity in the 80s, has made a major comeback in the last few years. If you’re looking for hair perming in Dickson, we’re proud to have a senior stylist, Maria, who specialises in perming.
Due to the damaging nature of the process, perming is only suitable for hair that’s currently in a strong and healthy condition. It’s also important to know that after your perm, you can’t wet your for 24 hours as a setting period is required for the curls to last.

Hair smoothing
Due to our extremely sensitive smoke alarm system, we’re unfortunately no longer able to offer smoothing treatments at Eden. However, we’re pleased to share that these services are still available at our sister salon in Queanbeyan, Hare and Fawn.
